Shut up!...Here we go again… Hey guys, Guess what?
Wearing their BEST, ladies and gentlemen, may I present to you, The JUNIOR PEACE’IANS. The Red carpet entourage of the 1st year, Once in a Blue moon get up of the 2nd year, 3rd years of the third year black parade and hands up for the SILVER toes of the 4th years.
The event last July 11, 2007 held at the Arcilla Hall of Bicol University College of Social Sciences and Philosophy made a way for the Peace Studies Department to officially welcome the freshmen. Through the effort of the Junior Peace Advocate Officers, the program for the said event has been furnished and well accomplished.
It was a night of great excitement and fun for the student and faculty members of ABPS. Dr. Herbert B. Rosana, the department chair, gave a wonderful insights about the course and delivered an inspirational message for the student especially the 1st year BAPS. The other faculty members of the department, Prof. Lloyd V. Berdin, Prof. Engelbert B. Reolo and Prof. Gina M. Oropesa also gave a fruitful, very toughing and emotional messages for the students and again with neophytes as especial mention. In the heart of the event were cute presentations of parlor games for enthusiasts, jolly, freak and very cool Peace Advocates.
Acquaintance Party’07 was divided into three parts. The first part was a Holy Mass officiated by Rev. Fr. Edgar Barias. The second part was a program hosted by Ms. Rachel Faelyn Calamucha and Mr. Manuel T. Perez Jr. (Both 4th year students). The said program was formally opened by His Excellence, JPA President Mr. John Michael Ojano. This very energetic young man demands cooperation and participation, from among the delegates of all year levels. He particularly assured the audience that the event will come across the universe to intensely rock their world on the last and third part of the program.
Everything was all right as when the beat of sounds begun to break our eardrums. Everybody stood up, not to recite but Hey!, to showcase their talent in Body Language. Hahaha…And if you missed that gig, well, you have wasted your chance to see the break of DAWN. It’s nice to have it all guys! Mwaahh—tan!
